![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You don't have any PR because you don't have enough decent backlinks. What are you doing to obtain backlinks? There are literally hundreds of thousands of places to get a backlink to your site on the internet. Forums, directories, blogs(not comment spam), purchased premium links, etc. If you post regularly in a forum, most forums allow you a link or two in the signature bar. Find free directory lists and spend an hour a week submitting to directories. Find blogs and other sites that are relevant to your site and email them requesting a link. These are the basics of link building, and if you don't do at least one of these, then you will probably not see a very big difference in your SERP rank or your Page Rank. |

![]() | Well if he has 150 really good backlinks his PR would go up.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's true. But as we all know, in 150 backlinks, you might have 1 or 2 that are relatively decent. I have over 5000 backlinks on one of my sites that is only a PR4. |

![]() | It's not the quanity but the quality. I have one site that just received a PR4 with 1 PR5 backlink and about 100 PR0 links. Another just received a PR5 with over 50k backlinks. It's hard to say exactly what PR your website will receive for XXX amount of links. Just focus on building revelant quality backlinks and everything will fall into place. |

It is not only about the back links, they stimulate the position in the google index, but does not have the only and relevant influence in your page ranking, take care about the site content and it should be good too. | |

![]() | I think if you have any incoming links for a site that have PR then you should see a PR1 for your troubles. When I tried my hand at this a few years ago, I was just learning, had no idea what pagerank was or incoming links etc. Just checked and the 1st site I registered has got a PR1 - has no visitors whatsoever as I didn't do anything worthwhile to it. But had 1 incoming link from the guy who I bought my hosting from, he had a page on his site linking to all current customers from a PR1 page. That is the only possible reason I could have gotten PR1 for that site.

![]() | It is also something that takes consistency, persistence and patience. I usually wouldn't expect to see a lot of results for probably 3 to 6 months. When submitting:
And remember that when your submitting your sites you want the link text to include some variation of your golden keywords. These are the words that you have researched and found that people use when trying to find your type of product. Don't just use YOUR favorite new term for your product that nobody has heard of. That won't help you as much as targeting what people are already searching for. |
