most of the PR changes posted on forums are about sites going down PR..

did not see a site gaining PR in the last few months!

What is going on with "G"

I am in the same boat. To those who wonder why some of us worry about PR I say one thing: "Get out of this biz." If You have no clue why than no need to do it.

I doubt Google will be updating for a while, i came across an article from matt cutts saying they backing off at the minute due to google being over whelmed with website data & backlinks to much hard work it seems. I will try look for that article, i think it was on seomoz but unsure now..!

For some reason there are webmaster really insist of getting a high or good PR while some webmaster are not looking into PR, they are looking into Traffic and Contents.

"Some PR3 website are having at least 2k unique visitor per day, while there is some PR6 website are only having about 300 unique visitor per day. My best guess, G will bring visitor to your web, if you have a good and quality contents, but not good PR. " - by someone whom i forgot where i stum on.

There is little value in focusing all of your attention on trying to analyze
something that is designed for the purpose of constant, continual and nearly
perpetual change. Don't spend hundreds of hours trying to analyze algorithm.

Instead, use your time wisely to create fresh original content that is mildly
optimized for those low competition "niche phrases" that are being used by
searchers (the ones who know what they are looking for and know how to search.)

Excel at keyword research and it'll make your optimization work MUCH easier.
