 |  Yahoo vs. Altavista Hi All, there was a thought in my mind for the latest days. Yahoo said to sort the inlinks by their importance using the link: operator. But it is far from my conviction. I don't think that would be true. I just can't remember where I read about it, or why I thought that yahoo would do so. Yesterday night I visited altavista and typed the domain after the link: operator. In my opinion the result order was more credible. So altavista display backlinks by their importance not Yahoo in my opinion.  What do you think about it? Do you know any search engine that would sort the inlinks by their relevance?

| Re: Yahoo vs. Altavista I use seo for firefox plugin as an important piece of my seo toolkit. When I use the link: operator at yahoo sitexplorer the displayed PR values are very talkative. I now the importance of some of the linking page and the order doesn't reflect that.
