Default Re: google and paid links

If Google wasn't so big, it would one day be it's own demise.

When I first started out with a website about 5 years ago, I joined adsense, wasn't getting many clicks, so paid for those "get more visitors" to your site in the hope of getting more clicks.

Got warned for improper use of generating page impressions.

Yet I tested this, and they were quite happy for me to pay approx $120 for 1 month to get extra visitors to my site using adwords, and nobody battered an eyelid that I was paying for visitors and page impressions.

2 words spring to mind when I think of Google - Double Standards

If it doesn't benefit them it's no good - and fair enough to an extent, but when people are trying to run online businesses it becomes unfair when they start stamping down their authority

Hi,

Good topic to discuss.

I also read matt cuts blog and i come to the point that google dont have any idea about how to recognize paid linking but matt clearly stated that we will going to more strict on this issue in future but currently we dont know how to check paid links.

So, keep in mind google change his algorithm any time and if you are suspect then your website ranking will be down or penalize.

Regards,
BHAVESH GOSWAMI
