try www.directorycritic.com and look at the free directories list. submit your site to 50 directories a day or so and dont stop till you have submitted to them all (or atleast 500-600 of them)=]. contact people with sites with similar contact and exchange links with them.

I followed this on my last site (just sold a few weeks ago) ans received a pr3 after around 3 months, and I am doing this on the new site I started www.mmastation.com and hope to see some similar results.

Are you sure you meant 50 (and not 5)? Because 50 sounds like too much submitting for only one day.

just turn on the remember forms section of IE or use fireform. I can usually submit to 50-100 every 30-45 minutes this way.
