![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I tried adbrite last Sunday evening. I replaced all of the ads on a busy portion of one of my sites. Typically this section makes me about $10.00 per week with adsense, so I thought I'd give adbrite a go. I sat and waited for 6 days to have advertisements placed on my site, but it never happened. I couldn't keep up not making money, so I had to pull the ads and replace them with adsense. I also decided to try advertising using adbrite. I spent $20.00 in a day advertising my Lost forum. I didn't get much of a traffic boost in relationship to the traffic the previous Thursday. I didn't get a single conversion. I found out that my ads were placed on completely irrelevant sites, and I was getting several clicks from the same IP. So my opinion of adbrite is currently pretty low. If you have no other options to use, then adbrite might be for you. I think that all 18,000 of their publishers might be publishers that were banned from Google for one reason or another. I might try publishing again in the future, but I will never ever advertise with them again. I like the idea of Britepic, but it doesn't seem to work all the time, so your pictures just don't appear. If they get that working right, I'll be using them. |

![]() | I used adbrite myself. I came to the same conclusion, paid too much, waited too long, and nothing happened.

![]() | We use adbrite sitewide however, we make an average of 10.00 sometimes a week ... This month they are reporting we have made 26.78 TB For April just on the one domain, so it has definetly increased... We are still monitoring it and see how well we do in a months time Blogging Fusion Last edited 04-15-2007 at 08:38 PM. |

![]() ![]() | Adbrite only works with really high traffic sites I feel. Take the ebaumsworld's and the break.com's and the megaupload's out of the equation and I don't think they'd be as big a company as they are unfortunately. You'd probably have more luck Adsense with another program such as Text Link Ads I feel

![]() | I don't think adbrite is a good choice. Had bad experience with them.

![]() | Hello jumpenjuhosaphat Um thats depends we have our ads on approve ALL to insure we dont get adult related on this domain but usually within 12 to 24 hours... This is how it works, the Advertiser sends the web author their ad for approval, however once you approve it the advertiser then accepts the sites he / she wishes their ads to appear on for final process... We use adbrite on 2 of our high traffic domains and this month alone we are at - April 2007 » $195.57 check to be processed on 6-30-2007 TBD TBD Now Adbrite, Text Ads and a few others have whats called a 60 day net hold, means earnings you made 60 days ago will be paid out 3 months later So you made say $100.00 for January you will get paid this in April ... It really depends on the placement too, we get around 60-100 ad request per day on these domains.. and the one domain has over 8,000 plus some members and currently has 2300 people online serving 485 pages every 5 minutes... So you can see that this site hawls a lot of traffic Its trial an error just like adsense, we however run their adbrite ads in the footer of our sites so its sitewide, and becuase of this we get far more request I think... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's similar to most contextual ad providers. Google makes you wait almost 60 days before they pay you. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Your right, they process the payment on the 15th of the month, and send it out on the 25th. I get my payment on the 25th of the month. |

![]() ![]() | AdBrite used to be better. I have noticed a big decline lately. Their response times are also very poor and I don't think that they ever update the publisher's thumbnails. They have totally removed the price on some of my ad zones, while constantly lowering the price on the one that actually gets the clicks. I am going to be dumping them as well. I have also tried the CJ.com, but they are based on sales not clicks. I had ton of clicks on their ads, but haven't made any money. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like the idea of text link ads, but I've been stewing something similar to them for quite some time, they just beat me to the punch. I might still do something like that. |

![]() ![]() | The other thing I found a pain with the ADBrite is that everytime I want to put a different format of the ad I have to re enter every single thing. There is no ability whatsoever to change the existing formats. |
