Default Multiple domains

Hello,

My website has many domains that display duplicate content. I know SE's will penalize people for this, but I have a meta tag: <meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow" />

Will this prevent penalization from SE's.

The reason I do not want to use 301 redirects to the main domain is that the domains are designed to be used for alternative access when the main domain is banned from a school network, etc.

Thanks in advanced,
Millar.

Spiders don't tend to follow these instructions inserted in the meta tags. Regardless, duplicate sites are a bad idea.
