Default SEO Question Parked Domains or 301 redirects?

We weren’t sure where to post this, so I apologize if we have placed it in the wrong forum thread!

Our domain has all the prefixes like .com, .net, .org, .ca etc…

My question is what’s the best way to implement these other prefixes we own without getting penalized by Google, Yahoo, MSN etc…?

We currently have them as parked domains, so our website can be accessed by all prefixes but we asked on another forum and they say using a 301 redirect is better?

What’s your opinion on this?

301 is a search engine friendly redirect, so if you want to avoid any possible anger, I also suggest you to use that kind of redirect, since it will make clear in google's eye that you don't want to show the same content at different domain, but you want to protect your brand.

Hello KieranTaylor0403

Sorry we wern't sure and thanks for moving it to the proper thread...

See we thought so too, so I will definetly switch those domains to a 301 / redirect and point them to their proper domain!
