  |  Hostgator Issues I noticed a thread before about hostgator being difficult to deal with... Has anyone else had problems with them or know of any? How many people have had nothing but good things from them? I would just like to know the public opinion as i am currently using them for my sites www.onlife.com.au www.removalistsdirect.com.au www.thomasonline.com.au |

|  Re: Hostgator Issues Some people here say that they(hostgator) have been pretty good. I personally had a terrible expirience with them. I dropped them after two weeks and I am still having some trouble with the domain propagating properly. I have checked the BBB report on them and found that they've been having a big increase in complaints. In the last 36 months they have had 18 complaints. 12 of them in the last 12 months. I have also complained to BBB and HostGators response to my complaint was an outright lie. I have showed proof that they are lying. |

| Re: Hostgator Issues I have used HostGator in the past, always with no problems and I still recommed them for those just starting out...as they do offer tons of bandwidth and space.. I switched web host recently though as I was doing to much traffic for their shared enviroment so I went with an independant web hosting company! I myself could never be happeir, as the new host has been great as they keep it very personal not business, and to me that counts as a great quality! But all and all, hostgator is a decent web provider BloggingFusion |
