Default Advanced Query Disabled in Live Search

If anyone is wondering why you can't retrieve back link and site results from MSN at the moment it's because advance search queries have been disabled.

http://blogs.msdn.com/livesearch/arc...tered-but.aspx

This will probably affect other on-line SEO tools like page rank predictions etc as some of these tools (even though it's Google PR) rely on MSN queries to work out the results, I'm not certain if that includes any of tools here at iwebtool (maybe one of the staff her can comment)

I experience the same problem, I have been checking the backlinks in MSN and still it is not okey. You can used this link to check the backlink of MSN

Thank Flipflop
Yes backlinks for MSN still work on my tool.
What is really FUN you can even browse all backlinks on MSN using the link on my tool which is normally disabled.

That's the link to my tool. That's one of my directories.
Asking where did I get it? What is that tool?
Answer is easy: Wrote the script myself....

That's really sad. Without MSN backlinks, checking backlinks is just not complete.

I am using the free Link Popularity Check program from Axandra. Can be recommended. The program is of course free to tempt people into buying their SEO suite later, but they got to make money from it somehow.

Every time MSN or any other search engine makes changes to stop link searches, Axandra updates Link Popularity Check also.
