May not be a living, but it is approx $1700 a month, and if you don't spend that as if it's money, and rather spend it on promoting the website in hand, the AdSense earnings will increase, and before you know it, $150p/d, $300p/d, $1000p/d, etc.

It's all about what you want, if you want more you pay more initially until the traffic naturally flows in.
