Well the simplest way to get yourself out to millions of people is...

Any really funny video or a video that could be very popular or heaps of videos to capture an audience can make the difference.

I have actually taken videos and ran them through the simplest of programs (windows movie maker) and added a reference to my website at the beginning, through the middle and right at the end in the credits.

It is so simple and heaps of people will see your website URL if you get the right video.

Do it and see if it works for you.

We have tried 2 types of youtube promotion. We made a simple not very pushy video of what we do. The second was a more viral type to just try to increase awareness of our company. This video still after a month get 300-400 hits a day. If you like it please pass it on to your friends. This video even though popular did not directly relate into any sales. We do not believe that the cost was worth it.

Yes, other people have said the same thing. You can create videos and add your website there. People will watch your video but very few will actually visit the site. Most people won't bother.
