Default iWebTool needs your help.

We need members to post their website PR predictions in the prediction tool accuracy thread at http://talk.iwebtool.com/thread9932.html

There are a lot of questions as to how accurate this tool is, and it would be nice to finally have an answer. So, if you haven't already done so, visit http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_prediction and post the results in the thread I mentioned above.

All who participate and share their results will be given reputation by myself and a few other moderators.

The only thing that I ask is that you don't use the prediction tool accuracy thread to talk about the results, you can do that in this thread. I will move all discussions from that thread to here.

Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated.

Well, it's a great start, we now have 19 sites to compare data to. We need 31 more before the PR export begins, so get your sites listed....

This week will be fine. Maybe we will do a better study after this next TBPR export, but it's too late to get to technical now. So just give your current prediction, that should give us a pretty good idea as to how accurate the prediction tool is.

As long as the time window is specified for gathering the data and the same for all, the data gathered to test the accuracy of the pagerank prediction should be good enough. My data is changing data, but a call has to be made at some point or we could go on forever right upto and through the PR update (whenever that may be).

I am assuming you mean the iwebtool page rank prediction? If it doesn't work for you, the best thing to do is to try back at a later time.

For the last week now the PR prediction tool wont work for me...

I am always getting "Unknoown - Cannot Determine"

It kinda sucks... coz it used to work really well.

I am curious to hear the overall accuracy of the PR Prediction tool. Can someone who has been utilizing it for some time explain the accuracy and credibility of the tool? Perhaps even elaborate on some of the factors it uses to come to its predictions.

That's what we are testing for now. We are trying to determine the accuracy of the tool. As far as credibility, it is second to none. The brick PR prediction tool is just a joke. iWebTools is the most commonly used PR predictor on the internet. In fact, in most cases when you use a PR predictor on another site, it's using iWebTools unbranded tools. As far as some of the factors, the only person that knows anything isn't talking.

Who is that person?
The tool seems to start working again for me. It is predicting pr 3 (71.1%). Currently it seems that 14 out of 37 google servers are giving me PR4.

It's pretty useless using the predictor when the update is going on. Although, it might give some interesting results.

Do you use Webmaster Central? They give you a better idea of how many backlinks you have than a link search will do on Google.
