![]() | How hard would it be to switch this over to CSS. I love the style so do my customers, but I want the advantages of CSS. I have Adobe Contribute. Can it easily be switched or do I have to start from scatch? http://www.fischervanlines.com If this link does not work like it did not last time click on the image to the left and goto visit my web-site. Thank You- Jeff Fischer |

![]() | Jeff - the overall design is unique. I love the navigation menu on the left. That said, a couple of things come to mind. I don't like the way the page colors go from a gradient gold to bright yellow, with no warning. It cuts the pages at odd points. Also, on your links page - the blue on dark gray is difficult to read (at least for my old eyes) - and try to keep the links relevant to your industry. More isn't better if they have nothing to do with van lines or moving. How about links to real estate or storage sites?

![]() | fischervanlines - hi I very much like the original mouseover effect on the navigation menu. It's also a very good idea to place the contact phones on top, on all pages. As a whole i think your content is very well organized and all information is easy to find. However, as a whole for the site: if you need to establish a really professional image for your company you should try to stick to a more classic layout, with very consistent colors, not too much gradient for the background, should avoid glossy effects, etc. This design looks really nice but is more appropriate for another type of business - maybe enternatinment or something.. Of course this is just my personal opinion, it's your choice to use more fancy style for your web If you wish - PM me and I will re-do for you your Home page using a more classic design based on sitekreator, just to give you an idea of what you may achieve with a more 'conservative' look and feel... Good luck to your business! rgds chi

![]() | I like the site Simple and to the point. You have a change in the page color for not apparent reason. Brakes up the flow of the site. If the picture wear take by a professional photographer or maybe outlines around them. |

![]() | I agree with what the others said about the gradient in the background color- it changes really abruptly. Also, your links on the main page there (Click here for a free quote, and the phone number) aren't in the middle of those black circles, which I'm assuming their supposed to be. I don't mean to be picky... but...when I pulled your page up in IE the text was down over the gold page break bar, which makes it really hard to read. I like the layout- nice and easy to navigate. Best of luck to you!

![]() | Hello fellow Coloradan You site has a very unique look. I would have to agree with you that a CSS transition is required. The issues with the background can be easily fixed with CSS. Also using DIVs instead of TABLEs is much more efficient. I could convert it for you if you make an offer.
