| Re: .biz is it as good for ranking as .com? I've been wondering the same thing. There is a domain name I want where .com is not available (although not being used currently) but .biz is. If there is some more value to the .com I would bid on it, but if .biz is just as good I will simply register that one. Any thoughts? |

I don't want to talk you into registering the biz domain, but i would do so. Try to find a memorable keyword rich domain and the tld won't hinder at all.

If your site is a business website then I would say go for a .biz extension but this is entirely your choice. As long as you do good SEO (i.e. backlinks, good content, META tags, etc.) you will probably get a very good ranking in search engines.
