Default Online Shopping Cart - Layout 2 or 3 Columns

I want to see what people like so please vote either way.

The standard for most shopping carts seems to be 3 columns. Top header for logo, message etc. Then column 1 for Navigation, Column 2 for main info and column 3 for Cart display.

I think this sometimes displays too much info for the user and can confuse them. I use amazon as an example. When they display products you have the typical layout until your ready to view product, purchase. It all changes rapidly to single column.

So, which do you prefer? You can visit our site to see how 2 column looks, we are testing to see if it's better. http://www.lionblade.com

I think 3 colomns is best because I might end up buying more than 1 product!

This can still be achieved with two columns. As the first column is still the Navigation column with links to all categories. Then column two being the product info/features/images.

I have found a good compromise I think works well. The main page is three columns so will not confuse people when they first hit the page. But every other page on the site is two columns, showing you are now in the buying/checkout process

Doesnt matter. The price, reputation etc. matters
